Our Work

We believe that commissioning public art makes a positive contribution to a city’s urban fabric and lends depth and character to property developments. It also helps to foster a sustainable arts culture in Australia, and enlivens and inspires the communities that grow in and around the developments we work on.

We have consulted on fifteen projects across the Level Crossings Removal Project (LXRP) under Victoria’s Big Build, from running tenders and liaising with artists to overseeing installation and maintenance of public-facing artworks.  Having been employed by local councils across Victoria, ADA have consulted on local art strategies across Victoria, transforming how regional and urban communities can engage with public contemporary art. From libraries to hallways to retail districts, ADA finds cultural solutions to public space.

ADA have consulted on projects for clients including as Westfield Southland, Facebook, Melbourne Central GPT, The Sheraton, MIRVAC, Hamton, Gallagher Jeffs, Deague Group, Banco Group and AMP. ADA were recently appointed as the inaugural art consultants on the boutique hotel, Melbourne Place Hotel, which joined the HYDE group in 2025.

Whether integrating public art in commercial and residential developments or major hotels and retail districts, ADA is committed to finding young, local talent, and bringing it to the public realm. By creating the opportunities for young emerging artists, ADA’s mission is twofold; to integrate art in the public realm, while taking local talent to new heights and international renown.
